Library receives 100
books from book fair
The Lone Tree school/com-
munity library was able to keep
over 100 books from the book
fair held Oct. 30 - Nov. 5,
according to JoAnn
Sundermann, library media spe-
cialist.
"Thanks to the generous
response from the library
patrons, we reached our goal of
$3,000 in sales," Sundermann
stated.
By reaching the goal, the
library was able to receive 20
percent of the sales in books and
received another 20 percent in
cash. The cash profits will also
go toward the purchase of more
books and family videos for the
library.
The next book fair will be
held in early May and will be a
"two for the price of one sale."
At that sale, the library receives
no percentage, but Sundermann
views the spring sale as an
opportunity to thank the patrons
for their generosity to the library.
