Dr. Carol L, Moreno and her staff are having their Tenth annual Halloween Health bay. They will be having it on £ay November 1st from 3:00 to S:00 p.m. in West Liberty. This event is COmmunity service that Dr. Moreno healorganized to create extended oral th for children. Children between ages of 4 and 15 can come to the ntal office to trade their Halloween difor cash. We will offer ONE per pound for their extra candy (five pound limi0. Plus, they will receive a complimentary toothbrush (donated by Oral- B), a healthy snack, and a prize. Our message is simple: Too any sweets between meals causes cavities. A good cleaning with toothbrush and floss after eating can remove the plaque (bacteria) and the food bacteria eat so no harm will be done. "Ihere are other delicious, healthier alternatives to candy and sweets such as fresh fruits, raw vegetables, unbattered popcorn, ect. Also you don't have to give candy as a treat. Iowa gym-nest wins team competition The level 5 and level 6 teams from the Iowa Gym - Nest both won the team com- petition at the GymStars Invitational Meet at the University of Iowa Field House Saturday, Oct. 12.
