Sponsored by John L. Mumm No. 457 of the American Legion, it is open to young men and women who are 9-20 years of age. The activity is designed to teach youngsters the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes of responsible gun ownership. It will also feature the develop- ment of basic marksmanship skills through use of .177 cal- iber airguns. The club will meet weekly, starting Monday, Oct. 15, from 7 - 8:30 p.m., at the Legion. Class size will be limited to 12 students. Winter clothes sought Cold weather is approaching, and our community as children in need of winter appmel. Abner Lodge members recognize this, and ask for your assistance in fulf'dling flais n, Masons  ask- ing for donations of winter rments lor children ages five to fourteen. Please check your closets for out- grown or unneeded children's winter clothing the articles may be delivered to Coleen Wesffall at the elementary school principal's office at the Lone Tree Community School or at L.T.'s Fine Grocery. The clothes will then be transport- ed to the Concord Custom Cleaners in Iowa City, who has graciously agreed to donate financial assistance for reconditioning and cleaning : expenses, The garments will then be returned to the Masonic Temple- in Lone Tree. The Lone Tree Community School will redistribute the articles to families who wish to receive them. Your contributions to the Coats for Kinds program will be greatly appreciated. Scheduling to begin October 10th for our patients 65+ or with chronic health conditions for vaccinations on or after October 22nd.
