Obituary
1925-2005
Margaret M. Stock, 80, of
Lone Tree died Wednesday, Sep-
tember 14, 2005 at the Lone Tree
Health Care Center in Lone
Tree following an extended ill-
ness.
Funeral services for Mar-
garet were held on Friday, Sep-
tember 16, 2005 at the United
Presbyterian Church in Lone
Tree. Rev. Jason Pittman offici-
ated the services.
Burial was at the Lone Tree
Cemetery. A memorial has
been established at the funeral
home in memory of Margaret.

Margaret May Stonebarger
was born on March 17, 1925 in
Lone Tree, Iowa the daughter of
Harry A. and Mary Wilma
(Jehle) Stonebarger.
Margaret was a 1943 gradu-
ate of Lone Tree High School
and attended Teacher,s College
in Cedar Falls.
On June 12, 1954, Margaret
Margaret Stock
was united in marriage to
James C. Stock at the Congre-
gational Chapel in Iowa City.
Margaret taught country
school in Johnson County for
two years and from 1951 A 1965,
she worked at Hills Bank and
Trust in Hills.
She was a member of the
United Presbyterian Church in
Lone Tree and the Birthday
Club. She enjoyed playing
cards and traveling, but most of
all, Margaret dearly loved to
spend time with her family.
Margaret is survived by her
husband, James of Lone Tree;
one daughter, Sandra Landers
and her husband, Doug of
Rochester, Minnesota; two
grandchildren, Kimberly
Schmidt and her husband,
James of Winona, Minnesota
and Amy Schneider and her
husband, Nicholas of Houston,
Minnesota and seven great
grandchildren, Hunter
Koenigs, Andrew and Ben-
jamin Schmidt and Calli,
Nicholas, Samuel and Zachary
Schneider.
Margaret was preceded in
death by her parents, one great
granddaughter, Faith Marie
Schmidt, one brother, Robert
Stonebarger and one infant sis-
ter, Martha Lou.

meyer and Larry Dean
Jones, both of Lone Tree,
announce their engage-
ment.
Parents of the bride-elect
are Gary and Pat Kleinmey-
er of Lone Tree. Parents of
the future bridegroom are
Mike and Daline Jones of
Lone Tree.
The wedding is planned
for October 22, 2005 at Faith
Baptist Church in Iowa City.

Age Brunch
All members of the commu-
nity age sixty years and older
are invited to attend the annual
Golden Age Brunch, which will
be held Saturday October 15, at
the Presbyterian Church in
Lone Tree.
The River Junction Ladies
Society Orchestra will play at
10 a.m. Brunch will be served at
10:30 a.m.
The event is sponsored by the
board of deacons.
