LT City Council meeting minutes
July 12, 2010
Mayor Ogren called to order at 6:30 pm
the regular meeting of the Lone Tree
City Council with K. Brown, Larsen and
Lemley present S. Brown arrived at 6:55
pm and Coppinger was absent. Others
attending: Merry Thomae, Martin Wit-
kowski, Gary Kleinmeyer, Jerome Gray,
Mary BIount, other citizens. Motions car-
ried with all Ayes unless noted. Lemley,
Larsen moved to approve the agenda as
presented. CARRIED. K. Brown, Lemley
moved to approve the consent agenda.
CARRIED. Water samples were read
from East Side Village, UP Church, m-
ported safe and filed.
Lemley, K. Brown moved to approve
the Fall Festival parade mute, Fun Run
mute and street closures, (the same as
last year). CARRIED. K. Brown, S. Brown
moved to approve RESOLUTION 2010-T
(DESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS FOR
FALL FESTIVAL ACTIVITIES). CARRIED.
Larsen, K. Brown moved to approve the
request from Gary Kleinmeyer to install
petrol matting for his remote control air-
planes in the area East of the Cemetery.
CARRIED.
Lemley, S. Brown moved to not have the
corner areas of DeVoe Street filled in
with concrete. CARRIED. Larsen, Lemley
moved to approve RESOLUTION 2010-U
(CONTRACTOR PAYMENT). CARRIED.
K. Brown, Larsen moved to suspend the
rules and read by title only the 2nd and
3rd readings of ORDINANCE 2010-4 (AL-
LIANT ENERGY ELECTRIC FRANCHISE
RENEWAL). CARRIED. Larsen, S. Brown
moved to approve the 2nd and 3rd read-
ings of Ordinance 2010-4. CARRIED.
K. Brown, S. Brown moved to suspend
the rules and read by title only the 2nd
and 3rd readings of ORDINANCE 2010-
5 (ALLIANT ENERGY GAS FRANCHISE
RENEWAL). CARRIED. Larsen, S. Brown
moved to approve the 2nd and 3rd read-
ings of Ordinance 2010-5. CARRIED.
Larsen, K. Brown moved to approve at-
tendance to the Confined Space Training
at Kirkwood for maintenance personnel.
CARRIED.
Larsen, K. Brown moved to pursue the
New Business Incentives idea. CARRIED.
No action taken on ORDINANCES 2010-6
AND 2010-7.
K. Brown, Larsen moved to continue
to deliver meals to Nichols on Monday,
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday if Nichols
is willing to pay the mileage difference.
CARRIED.
Letters will be sent for nuisance com-
plaints.
Mayor Ogren read the Farmers Market
Proclamation.
K. Brown, Larsen moved to approve the
repairs on the lift station pump. CARRIED.
Larsen moved to adjourn. Mayor Ogren
declared the meeting adjourned at 8:32

County Board of Supervisors to order in the
Johnson County Administration Building at
9:00 a.m. Members present were: Pat Hamey,
