he Lone Tree National Honor Society and Student Council hosted a carnival in the new gym May 5
b raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A talent auction was also planned for the same day,

Haley Stonebarger, Lone
Tree, won a Bronze Medal and a
Third Place Trophy in Dance
Competitions for a jazz solo
"Boys Will Be Boys." Haley,
pictured at right, placed very
well with only 18 months of
dance lessons. She studies under
Lyndsay Wilkinson Krotz at
Attitudes In Dance, Riverside.
Emily Tener, Kelsey Slay and
Stephanie Tener of Riverside
won 6 First Place Trophies and
3 Silver Medals, between them
in Dance Competitions this
spring for Ballet Trio to
"Waltz". At "Syposium" they
received an additional plaque
and honorary award for Highest
Point Trio under 12 years (pic-
tured at right). At "Statewide"
they also won a plague for
Highest Point Trio in all dance
categories. These girls have
been studying tap, ballet and
jazz, also under Lyndsay
Wilkinson Krotz in Riverside,
for more than four years.
Dance students from
Attitudes in Dance, Riverside
will perform their fifth annual
recital at the West Branch High
School Theater, on May 18 at 1
p.m. Students participate from
Riverside, Lone Tree, Hills,
Ainsworth and area.
