Coaches Association 1A Select
Team. This team consisted of
nine of the best 1A players in the
state.
Ripperton played her usual
great all-around game scoring 10
points, dishing out many assists,
blocking shots, and playing
excellent defense. Her all-around
abilities were rewarded by
receiving this honor. Megan's
team defeated the 2A Select
Team 80-77.
Megan will play in one more
All-Star game before her high
school ball career is done. The
Goalsetters Game will be held at
Central College in Pella, Iowa,
on Friday, June 15. Her first
game will begin at 1 p.m.

finished with a score of 52, two
strokes over the lead West
Liberty teammate. Holli Sterner,
also of Lone Tree, finished with
55 strokes.
In the Hawk Invitational at
Mid-Prairie April 20, Zinkula
had a final score of 53, while
Sterner finished with a score of
58.
The final team standings
from first through eighth were as
follows:
Cedar Rapids Prairie, 190;
Clear Creek/Amana, 206; West
Liberty, 207; Winfield-Mt.
Union, 211; Durant, 211; Mid-
Prarie, 219; Regina, 219; and
Iowa Mennonite, 243.
In the Tigerette Classic at
Tipton, Zinkula finished with a
stroke total of 102 and Sterner
bad a 117 total.
The final team standings and
scores were as follows:
DeWitt Central finished first
with a score of 398; Tipton was
second with a 428 total; Durant
came in third with 433 strokes;
the West Liberty girls were
fourth, scoring 436; and West
Branch finished fifth with 499
total strokes.
