Regular Meeting, February 13, 2001,
the Monthly Financial Report, the
Activity Fund Report, the School Lunch
Report, he General, Activity, School
Nutrition, and Schoolhouse Fund Bills.
General $17,160.19, Activity $5994.88,
Schoolhous $248.11, School Nutrition
$5,252.25, and February Prepaid
$32,422.31. Approved the Open
Enrollment out of Emma Wortman, and
the Open Enrollment of MadelynFlemr.
Approved the Science Fair trip to Ames
March 30,31. Approved the FCCLA
Leadership Conference trip March
27,28. Approved the Art Club trip to
Chicago April 20,21. Approved the
Sharing Agreement with West Liberty
for Girls Golf, and the Shanng
Agreement with Highland for Football,
Track, Wrestling, and Cross Country,
for the 2001-2002 school calendar.
Accepted the resignations at the end of
the 2000-2001 school year of Laurie
Forbes as National Honor Society
Advisor, Todd Campbell as High
School Science Teacher, Nicole
Harding as 5-12 Instrumental Music,
and Glenn Plummer as a High School
Math Teacher. Approved to employ
Kelby Bender as Head Boys Golf
Coach for lhe Spring of 2001, and
David Marshall for Summer Drivers
Education at $160.00 per student
Moved to go into closed session at 7:50
p.m. by a roll call vote under section
21.5 (i) of the Gode of Iowa for
Negotiations. Moved to go out of
closed session at 9:15 p.m. by a roll
call vote. Approved the list of certified,
non-certified, and extracurricular staff
for next year, approved a 4% salary
increase for the principals and 2.97%
increase for the superintendent.

Mayor Crawford called to order at
6:44 p.m. the special meeting of the
Lone Tree City Council with Brown,
Smith, Lihs and Wieland present.
Ratzlaff was absent. Others attending:
Merry Thomae, Steve Flake, Ron
Kruegar and Helene Lubaroff.
Lihs, Brown moved to approve
RESOLUTION 2001 -G
(DEVELOPMENT FOR OUTDOOR
RECREATION). Ayes: Brown, Lihs,
Wieland; Abstained'. Smith. Motion
CARRIED 3 to 1.
Dog complaints were tabled at this
time.
Smith, Brown moved to approve
payment of $949.00 for dues to the
L.A.M.D.A. organization. CARRIED.
Smith, Lihs moved to not allow the
raising of chickens within the city limits.
Brgwn, Smith' moved to amend the
motion to include any livestock within
the city limits. CARRIED on both
motions.
Smith, Lihs moved to adjourn the
special meeting. CARRIED.
Mayor Craw ford declared the
meeting adjourned at 7:19 p.m.

Chairperson Lehman called the John-
son County Board of Supervisors to or-
der in the Johnson County Administra-
tion Building at 9:05 a.m. Members
present were: Pat Hamey, Mike Leh-
man, Terrence Neuzil, Sally Stutsman,
and Carol Thompson.
Unless otherwise noted, all actions
were taken unanimously.
Motion by Stutsman, second by
Neuzil, to approve the claims on the
Auditor's Claim Register, as approved
by a majority of the Supervisors.

hey, to approve the payroll authoriza-
tions submitted by department heads, as
approved by a majority of the Supervi-
sors.
Motion by Hamey, second by Neuzil,
to approve and authorize the Chairper-
son to sign a Renewal Application for a
Class B Beer Permit, Application For
Outdoor Service Area, and Application
For Sunday Sales Privilege for Hi Point
Golf Course, Inc., Iowa City, as sub-
mitted by Scott A. Wood.
Motion by Stutsman, second by
Thompson, to approve and authorize the
Chair to sign the FY 2001 County Farm
Lease Agreement from Brace Ahrens,
AFM, Senior Farm Manager of Farmers
National Company.
Motion by Thompson, second by
Neuzil, to cancel the formal and infor-
mal Board meeting for the week of
March 18th, 2001.
Motion by Thompson, second by
Neuzil, to appoint Sally Stutsman to the
Iowa City Airport Zoning Commission
for a term ending December 31,2005.
Motion by Stutsman, second by Har-
hey, to approve and authorize the Chair-
person to sign the Johnson Controls
agreement to upgrade the existing DSC
8500 system to the new Metasys N30
system for $18,989,, par t of which will
be covered by insurance.

son County Board of Supervisors to or-
der in the Johnson County Administra-
tion Building at 5:34 p.m. Members
present were: Pat Hamey, Mike Leh-
man, Tenence Neuzil, Sally Stutsman,
and Carol Thompson.
Convened Public Hearing on pro-
posed FY 2002 Johnson County
Budget at 5:34 p,m.
Lehman gave an executive summary
of the proposed FY 2002 Johnson
County Budget. Supervisors reviewed
the budget service areas as follows:
Stutsman- Human Services; Thompson-
Capital Projects/Capital Expenditures
and Technology; Lehman- State and Lo-
cal Government Services and Interpro-
gram Services; Neuzit- Roads and
County Environment; and Hamey-
Public Salty and Court Services.
Budget Coordinator Jeffrey Home gave
an overview of County Revenues.
County Auditor Tom Slockett discussed
the proposed FY 2002 Johnson County
Budget's impact on taxpayers. Lehman
concluded the budget presentation.
Melvin Dvorsky spoke against the
budget. Myron Smalley had questions
regarding the County budget. Reverend
Bob Welsh spoke regarding the budget.
Aaron Brim had a question regarding
the budget,
Public Hearing closed at 6:28 p.m.
