Pekin, 3-1. At 182 Jake Pearson
was pinned by Dalton Wheeler,
Louisa-Muscatine, in 1:03; and

Cardinal, in 0:58.
At 195 Alex Moore was pinned
by Ethan Lamm, Mediapolis, in

pinned Blaine Jamison, Mediap-
olis, in 2:39; was pinned by Kyle
Davis, New London:, in 1:18; and
then was pinned by Travis Sim-
mons, Louisa-Muscatine, in 0:36
to finish fourth.
"He's a battler and he sticks
his nose in there and just has
the confidence he need to get
things going that's fun to see,"
said Jones.
At 285 Cody Icenogle pinned
Skyler Miller, WACO, in 5:51;
pinned Kyle Schneider, High.
land, in 1:01; and was pinned by
Derek Morales, Pekin, in 1:28 to
finish second.
"Cody as a first-year wrestler
and to make the conference fi-
nals is a pretty good effort,"
noted Jones. "People who see
him win or lose a match aren't
seeing the things we see in prac-
tice in terms of what he can now
do understand in practice. He's
dangerous - Schneider was a
good wrestler and so we know
he's dangerous and has a chance
of getting through this week as
well."
Lone Tree's next action will be
Saturday in the Sectional Tour-
nament at Belle Plaine.

size helped win the boards against
IMS.
"We had Elyssa Mills and
nedi Watson both in there to
doWn rebounds," said Pierson.
"Size helped, big bodies help and
we were able to do that. Unfortu-
nately Elyssa Mills pulled down
19 rebounds tonight, most of them
offensively, so they weren't all fall-
ing for us so maybe we would have
been able to put them away."
Pierson said IMS has been im-
proving over the course of the
year and he and his team are
eager to see them again.
"They've beenplaying well and
we'll see them again, in the first
round of districts and we'll be
looking forward to that."
